Artist tags : San Juan – Puerto Rican rapper Baby Rasta says he is doing his best to forget the eight bullet wounds he received nearly 18 months ago outside a recording studio in suburban San Juan.

Wilmer Alicea Curras was shot on March 3, 2010, as he walked out of producer DJ Memo's recording facility in Carolina.

Wounded in the stomach, arm, leg and back, the reggaeton star spent weeks in the hospital and was warned by doctors that his ability to sing might be restricted by damage to his lungs.

"What happened to me, I haven't given it much thought. I can't live with that. I can't live in the past, my schedule is so full it doesn't give me time to think," the 34-year-old Baby Rasta said in an interview with Efe.
