Reggaetonline.NET was founded by Yanik Dery, who owns and manages Derrix Media International (DMI). DMI is a Canadian based company that specializes in web site management. Reggaetonline.NET has been open to the public since October 2004. The main purpose of Reggaetonline.NET is to serve as a bridge between the Reggaeton music industry and the Latin community about music events and the artists. Reggaetonline.NET offers information about Reggaeton artists, the music industry, and provides a place for fans to meet and discuss Reggaeton and other Latin music genres. The web site provides information in both Spanish and in English, as well as other languages (coming in 2008) and this is what makes Reggaetonline.NET stand out from all other Reggaeton related web sites.
Reggaetonline.NET is currently expanding to include a full network of websites now collectively called The Reggaetonline Network.
