Their talent is out of the ordinary. Their creativity? Limitless. Alexis & Fido’s music, simply put, is… supernatural, or Sobrenatural, which is the name of their upcoming album, to be released on October 23rd.
The new album’s first single, titled “5 Letras” (5 Letters), in just one month on the airwaves, has hit the Top 10 on US and PR radio, and for which these urban Latin music superstars have just finished filming a video.
Directed by Louis Martínez (who’s worked with urban Latin music artists Wisin & Yandel), the video for ‘5 Letras’ was shot in black and white in the singers’ native Puerto Rico. It is hot, sexy and modern, just like Alexis & Fido’s music. The video is scheduled to make its debut on MTV Tr3s on August 14.
The supernatural duo Raúl “Alexis” Ortiz and Joel “Fido” Martínez, with two previous albums to their name (“The Pitbulls” and “Los Reyes del Perreo”) have, among many other accomplishments, appeared on TV (Telemundo’s soap opera “La Viuda de Blanco”, for example) and worked with stars such as Ricky Martin (on the remix of his hit song ‘Tu Recuerdo’).
Now, with the single ‘5 Letras’ and its video, and their new album Sobrenatural, Alexis & Fido are showing why, when it comes to great urban Latin music, they are among the best.
