Alexis and Fido have produced some of the most recognizable songs on many Reggaeton compilation CDs in the past. It is no wonder that their first full album, “Los Pitbulls” has now sold over 200 000 copies. They are definitely making noise in the music world. There is even a dispute over their nickname “Los Pitbulls,” a name which was given to the duo by Reggaeton fans because of the signature bark that can be heard throughout their songs.

Alexis and Fido can now stand alone on a stage and are touring cities in the U. S. from New York City to San Antonio promoting their album. “Everywhere we go people know who Alexis y Fido are now,” states Fido in a recent interview with Reggaetonline.net. “When we perform the crowd is even more responsive.” They used to know the words now they know the men behind the music” We have a website now, alexisyfido.com. We get email from fans all over the world; Spain, Mexico, South America, Central America, and United States. We like to answer our own emails. We don’t allow our manager to answer our fan mail because we know that it is not the same as us doing it personally. When make sure we reply personally to fans and even update them on our tours and other things we are doing.”

Los Pitbulls contains hits like” Eso Es” and “Pero Caliente.” “The Biggest song on the album is ‘Eso Es’,” says Fido with a smile.” “Everywhere we go we hear it on the radio stations and see the video on television in different countries.” Reggaeton fans around the world would agree that their favorite song on the album is “Eso Es” and is Fido’s Favorite as well.

They have been traveling more since Los Pit Bulls was released. The calendar on their website is booked up with virtually no time for the duo to rest. “As for touring, we are worn out, but we are have a hunger to keep performing and working hard for our fans,” say Alexis and Fido. ” We are lucky if we can sneak in two hours of sleep. When we were in La a few weeks ago and we were only getting two hours of sleep every night. Then we went straight to Texas. After Texas we had a promotion to do in Puerto Rico. We just came from Miami and we woke up today at 6am and we wont get to rest until well after midnight.” Being an artist in the music industry is tough sometimes, but the fans appreciate the hard work.

Although there are so many new CDs coming out every month, Reggaeton artists like Alexis and Fido leave fans craving for more. “We are already back in the studio,” the duo told Reggaetonline. “Just the other day we recorded some new stuff. We have already recorded a new song for Luny Tunes for their new album, Los Benjamins. We are going to record a song for Hector “El Father” for his new album Rompe Discoteca. We will also give the fans a special edition album from Alexis Y Fido this summer. The album will have the songs that were included in compilations like “Tocale Bocina,” “El Palo” and “Gata Michu Muchu” We will also include a DVD with that which will contain a few videos as well.

As for the fans of Reggaeton, they get the last word when it comes to rating new music. “The fans love the CD, basically everything has changed for us. People now know Alexis y Fido as Los Pitbulls.
