In a recent Article in Primera Hora Don’s father accuses the people who surround Don Omar of not being good enough for him. William Landrón Laureano, Don Omar’s father stated that he had experienced things first hand, when he saw one of Don's friends stealing something while visiting Don Omar’s house. He also notes that Don Omar is upset with him for maintaining a good relationship with one of Don's baby mothers (the Primera Hora article implies that the relationship between the two was maybe too good.)
