Well reggaeton sounds the same a LOT especially with the kicks and snares, thats why a lot of producers for reggaeton ie luny tunes and nelly switch up the kicks and snares to different sounds, one song u might here a hard kick and snare like on some gangsta stuff like rompe el bomper remix by voltio has a hard kick and snare and the same with Tego Calderon's Cosa Buena has a REALLY hard kick and snare, then u got the soft kicks n snares like nicky jam's joints n so on u get the point...also the tempo gets switched up a lil, some reggaeton joints might be fast, some a lil slower like the old reggaeton songs... also u know whats funny people say that spanish music does sound the same, they also got a point because when you switch up and regular reggaeton beat which is normally 100 BPM(beats per minute) u switch is up to 160 BPM's u get Perico Ripiao or Meregue Tipico, I've tried it myself and there u got reggaeton switches to merengue and the same backwords... so they are right in a sense, but if u look at it from a diff point they are not all the same exactly, its the main beat thats the same because if u switch it up then it ain't spanish dance music no more, feel me?
