They are really good..right now they are working with the Dominican office of Tourism touring across europe and the middle east promoting tourism to Dominican Republic...I got to meet Lenny(the strong one)the day of the Lito y Polaco concert here in Dominican Republic(he's friends with them) and he told me they had just gotten back from Saudi Arabia where they got paid 200k$ for one concert. Well i like Aventura. They are really good. I have a lot of favorites cause they talk about different things. Which is a little refreshing in bachata. My most favorite is "Ciego De Amor" thats like the best bachata beat ive ever heard.

Amor De Madre is their best song. Amor De Madre 2 isnt sung by them though. Hermanita is really good. La Boda is alot better than Ella Y Yo. Envidia Was really gangsta. I loved the beat to Puerto Rico and their version of Gone is my guilty pleasure. Te Invito has a great beat,but the lyrics sound like some playboy theme song. La Pelicula,Alexandra and La Guerra are good as well.

aventura is just the best...every song on their new album were hits in DR....all of their albums are all classics....they the real deal...they were the first to begin that new era of bachata...after that like about 100 other groups try to copy them and be like them but they failed...they the original.

Since this site and reggaeton kept me real busy in the last few months I didn't really listen to "Gods Project" (shame on me :rolleyes: ).

I don't really see them as a boy band though. Don't really know how they are marketed in DR, but here in Montreal, their fans are of all ages, not really the typical boys band audience which is a looooooooot younger.

i disagree...aventura brings something different to the table each song...each song sends a differnt message about life as they change up their flow alot...they do fast songs and slow songs, english songs like Gone and even merengue songs....they even involve henry to sing some songs..even tho he doesnt sound better then anthony but all the songs he has done are classics....and about rubin on women isnt that reggaeton perreo all about...so its ok for like a reggaeton dancer or artist to rub alllll over girls but not ok for a bachata group to do the same....its all about having fun...

Alot of songs they have are very much true La nina made me cry :mad: I love all of their songs especially their Love and Hate CD and Gods projects they have really good songs. Did you know that if you let bothe cd's play through on the last feww songs they have more songs on it like don't waste my time.

I think if they want to sing reggaeton they can but they should stay with Bacahta it suits them better :cool:

Aventura is the S*it. Their new album God's Project is probably one of the best albums in any genre. Angelito, La Boda, Ciego de amor, un beso, just to name a few great songs from the album. My other favorites are Cuando Volveras, Alexandra, and Amor De Madre. I have all of their albums and they are all great. Aventura is good music and if you like bachata or now, speak spanish or now, you can't deny good music.

sorry but i have to correct u on that 1... "amor de madre 2" is NOT an aventura song, its performed by some fake@ss wannabees from Argentina... Aventura was not envolved whatsoever in this song!!!

To the ppl that dont like them: I think its very very dumb to say Aventura is "gay", or compare them to "boybands". OMG I mean, just take a look @ the albumcover and READ what is sais: Anthony Santos (leadsinger) writes ALL the songs himself! Lenny Santos (the 1st guitar player) composes ALL the songs. Now what Nsync or Backstreetboy does that.
Besides, the fact that Aventura has the guts to make songs with emocion y sentimiento doesnt mean they gay, it means they MAN ENOUGH to face it.
