b-cuz pop-rock is a genre not a language...the things is that Reggaeton doesnt necesarily mean spanish... genres are based on the sound of the music not the language.

good point... but at the same time, it's faulted... there's a genre called "Latin" or at least... American's have created this genre.... but they got it right... Latin means Latin... you HAVE to speak spanish to be in this category...

yeah... exactly... to most americans she would just be latin... especially cuz of her new CD... but that's crap... she's proved she can be just as succesful in the english pop charts... i feel kinda embarrassed sometimes at wat americans consider latin music... i mean, when christina aguilera came out, they had her labeled as a latin artist as well, even though she probably didn't speak spanish at all...

yeah......That's true....they think just because someone has latin hertigae that makes them apart of the latin music world ....wjen in fact she wasn't!!!!!
