Hector “El Father” joined forces with one of the most important rappers in the music industry, JAY Z, to be featured in a new campaign for his clothing line Roc-A wear. This is a major step in Hector’s career, which will certainly direct him towards the crossover. Recently Hector and his CEO, Javier Gomez, were in Los Angeles, California, filming the promotional campaign alongside Memphis Black and Young Guns.
Hector “El Father”, is one of the pioneers in the reggaeton music genre and also a business oriented artist. He owns a record label, Gold Star Music, and a club in his native island of Puerto Rico.
JAY Z is a successful businessman alongside his recording career. He’s also known for his love relationship with pop/soul diva Beyonce. His clothing line Roc-A Wear has featured multimillion campaigns with superstars such as Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham and super model Naomi Campbell.
The rapper also owns a record label, a film company, a vodka company and a sports bar in Manhattan. Jay Z is the first non-athlete to have a signature athletic footwear collection with Reebok. Hector is closing a deal to launch his own clothing line under the Roc-A Wear brand, and his own footwear collection under the “S. Carter Collection” for Reebok.
