Ivy Queen recently broke up with DJ Urba, whom she's been dating since March of 06'. They separated on good terms ok terms. They still love each other but are hurting over their break up their professional relationship is still going strong as Urba helped in the production of her new album.
Ivy’s is coming out Wednesday Feb 14th although Tuesday. is the normal day to release a new CD. Her new album will include production/collaborations by DJ Urba and most likely, Monserrate, Naldo (possibly accompanied by Nely, Victor EL Nasi and/or Nesty), Luny Tunes, Noriega, Mickey Perfecto (other half of 3 to get funky, with Bimbo), and "Rasta" which most would assume means Baby Rasta. Also includes a salsa song, produced by Isidro Infante, very famous salsa producer/piano player/band leader, who compares her to legendary singer La Lupe.
Ivy has reached out to Calle 13 about the whole Latin Grammies fiasco, were she said that people walked out when they won the 3 awards in protest. Ivy herself said that they didn’t need to win all 3 of them when there are more artists out there. They are in good terms now.
