Ivy Queen’s appearance May 3 on Don Francisco Presenta was nothing less than extraordinary. With her new look, La Caballota delighted fans with her honesty and openness. When she was asked what she thought of her fans, she expressed nothing but utmost appreciation for all those who supported her. Ivy reflected upon the recent incident with a fan who had committed suicide because the mother did not keep a promise to get her child an Ivy Queen CD if she improved her grades. This unfortunate turn of events deeply moved and saddened Ivy. She stated that if it were up to her she would’ve fulfilled her fans wish and state,”soy artista pero tambien soy humana”.
Ivy also spoke of how far different fans will go to meet her or simply catch her attention. In the interview La Queen talked about where she came from, family and of the great inspiration her mother, who struggle with breast cancer, was to her. To end the show with a “BANG” she closed by singing Chika Ideal, which is the first single on her most recent album REAL.
