Reggaeton fans only have to wait a little over 2 weeks to finally purchase Los Benjamins. The atmosphere at Mas Flow is one of excitement because the majestic Mas Flow staff know that with every new album, they make history.

Now a major part of the producing team, A&A, Thilo, Nales and two more producers known as the Underage, along with, Tainy, Nely, can see their hard work and dedication paying off. Even with the time of the release of Los Benjamins drawing near, they continue to work diligently on whatever project is on front of them. In between breaks one can see them relax and joke around with one another, but when the time comes they are all business.

My night hanging out at Mas Flow this Wednesday night was like normal. As I walked in a said hello to all the producers and staff they greeted me with a hand shake and a peck on the cheek. I was there to do interviews with the whole Mas Flow crew and any artists who came to visit them. I first came across Monserrate, but of course I called him DJ Urba by mistake. As usually he thought to introduce himself and tell me about his career and who he was exactly. Most people don’t realize that this Princess knows many things about Reggaeton and its history because I am one of their biggest Fans.

When I sat down to interview Tainy, he listened to my questions in English and answered at a pace in Spanish that I could totally understand. Checho from Plan B sat Next to him and commended Tainy on his knowledge of English, saying, “Wow you understand her more than mine!” Then when it was Chencho turn he amazingly did as well as Tainy when it came to answering my questions. For the 2 to 3 questions that he didn’t understand, Tainy served as a United Nations quality translator for Chencho. However, as many know Puerto Ricans tend to speak fast and I could not understand much of what Chencho said because it sounded like Chinese to me! I would glance at Tainy as Chencho asked, “Me entienedes?” or “Do you understand,” and Tainy grinned and chuckled every time I shook my head yes, because my eyes were saying, “Heck NO!" I did have some comfort in knowing that My Reggaetonline West Coast Representative Nino Brown, aka Eddie Rosas, was more than happy to help me translate the interviews.

I preceeded to interview Thilo, A&A, Nales, who are a new part of Luny and Tunes producing team. I also sat down with lyric writer and artist, Luigi and Jospeh, who is a child with wisdom beyond his years.

To my surprise Prieto, Jospeshs father and manajer of Luny Tunes Studio, also brought in Wiso G to me for a short interview. I called a close friend of mine and member of the forum Diamond Girl, who jokingly said, “So Wiso G is NOT dead,” and we both laughed. An internet rumor told fans Wiso G was not alive, but the horrible rumor was later was cleared up by Primerahora.

As the night ended and I was on my way home I stopped outside the studio to shoot the breeze with everyone. To my surprise one of my favorite duos was also standing outside the studio. It was difficult for me to keep my composer when I saw Wisin, Yandel and Franco el Gorilla. With a rhythmic breathing technique I calmed myself down enough not to embarrass myself. One of these days, I will simply let myself go and show my true fanatic side, but for now it’s all about business.

Luny showed up next and soon took one of his master CDs in to allow Wisin and Yandel a chance to hear a finished track featuring artists like Wisin, Yandel Don Omar and Hector. I watched with a smile as Luny seemingly conducted an invisible orchestra at times and other times did a cool Reggaeton happy dance to the beat of the song.

Everyone who knows me, knows that for me, trying to interview Daddy Yankee is like trying to track down Sasquatch. I couldn't even get a plaster cast of his footprint even if I tried. As Luny played the last minute of his song the ever elusive Daddy Yankee walked in. Indeed this was a very good visit to Mas flow. The one song that I was lucky enough to hear, was awsome. I now will continue to count down the days to September 26 like all fans. I think that my future purchase of Los Benjamins will be well worth it.
