It was last night that was held the 25th edition of the "Premio Lo Nuestro A la Musica Latina." The historic ceremony was held at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami and broadcasted live on Univision.

In the category for "Urban Artist of the Year", Wisin & Yandel left with the trophy. The other nominees were Don Omar, Daddy Yankee and Juan Magán.

The title for the "Urban Song of the Year" has escaped Don Omar, who had won the award at the last "Latin Grammy Awards" with the song "Hasta El Sol What Salga." Last night, Daddy Yankee walked away with the statuette for the song "Lovumba". Besides Don Omar (Hasta Que Salga El Sol), the other nominees were Gocho (Si Te Digo La Verdad), Juan Magaán with Pitbull and El Cata (Bailando Por El Mundo) and Don Omar with Natti Natasha (Dutty Love).

In the category "Urban Album of the Year", Wisin & Yandel were the emerging winners for the album "Los Lideres" against a very strong competition: Don Omar (MTO2), Juan Magan (Bailando Por El Mundo), Daddy Yankee (Prestige) and Baby Rasta y Gringo (Los Duros).

In other categories, the big winner was undoubtedly Jenni Rivera who has won 4 awards posthumously. The Mexican artist died tragically in a plane crash on December 9.

The ceremony was led brilliantly by hosts Ninel Conde and Mexican icon Pedro Fernandez.
