Wisin & Yandel's highly popular album "Los Vaqueros" is going wild with the new Wild Wild Mixes CD/DVD. The album hits stores today Tuesday, July 24th.
This new remix CD and DVD combo includes 21 songs in total, including a new version of the hit "Yo Te Quiero" with Jayko, Wisin & Yandel's newest addition to the WY Records family; also featured is "La Pared" and "Nadie como Tú", with Don Omar; "Bien Sudao" by Tony Dize, and "El Teléfono" with Héctor "El Father", to name a few. The remixes include: "Un Viaje", "Pegao", "El Teléfono", "Dame un Kiss", "Quizás" and "Yo Te Quiero" with Luis Fonsi. Nesty and Victor “El Nasi” did most of the mixes.
As a bonus feature, the album contains an extra DVD with four exclusive videos, including: "Yo te Quiero", "Quizás", "Dame un Kiss" and "Pegao".
This is the second album release by WY Records/Machete Music, following the success of the platinum-selling album "Los Vaqueros" in 2006. "Los Vaqueros" was recently nominated as “I can't live without that CD" at Premios Juventud, where Wisin & Yandel took home three awards for "The Perfect Combination" with “Noche de Entierro”, "Catchiest Tune" for "Pegao" and "Favorite Video" for "Noche de Entierro".
Wisin & Yandel have come a long way from their humble beginnings in Puerto Rico, becoming one of the biggest reggaetón acts in the world, better yet, becoming "El Dúo de la Historia" (The Duo Making History). And make no mistake about it, it is a well deserved title; they became the first performers to break attendance records in Puerto Rico by selling out three nights in a row at the Coliseo José Miguel Agrelot; first reggaetón act to sell out New York’s Radio City Music Hall; became the first Latin act to place 4 songs ("Llamé Pa'Verte", "Noche De Sexo", "Rakata" and "Mayor Que Yo") on the “Top 10” of the 'Latin Chart' in Billboard during the same week.
In addition to the release of Wild Wild Mixes, Wisin & Yandel are in the production stage of a new album that is expected to be out in the market on November 6th.
