WISIN Y YANDEL SIGN AN EXCLUSIVE CONTRACT WITH MACHETE MUSIC - Reggaeton News

Llandel Veguilla & Juan Luis Morera, better known as WISIN Y YANDEL, the highly successful Reggaetón duo, that during the last few years have marked their territory on the Latin Scene with their contagious musical style and mega hits such as "Rakata" & "Aventura", have joined forces with MACHETE MUSIC, the record label currently leader in the urban movement.

The signing of this exclusive contract, guarantees a solid step in the career of this Puerto Rican duo, which includes an aggressive promotional plan and promises to take them to the top of their genre worldwide.

Born & Raised in Cayey, Puerto Rico, the history of WISIN Y YANDEL began in 1998 with the album "No Fear", of DJ Dicky. Other titles such as "La Misión, Vol. 1", "Los Reyes del Nuevo Milenio", "La Misión III A Otro Nivel", & "De otra Manera" form part of their history. Backed by a triumphant career, a prestigious award "Tu Musica" and 5 gold albums, Wisin y Yandel released to the public the production "Mi Vida", a compilation of their greatest hits that once again put them on the top of their genre in Puerto Rico.

The stage was perfect for both members of this group to try out their luck as solo artists, which for a time they separated and each recorded their own album. But destiny once again joined them and in 2004 they recorded "La Misión IV en el año 2004", under the record label New Era Entertainment.

Most recently they participated in the albums produced by Luny Tunes "Trayectoria" & Mas Flow 2" which included the hit songs "Rakata" and "Mayor que yo", once again they have managed to be at the top of the charts in Puerto Rico and the U.S.

WISIN Y YANDEL are working on their first album for MACHETE MUSIC, that will be under the name of "PA´L MUNDO", a name that signifies the new level of success that they will reach.
